BALTIMORE, MD (Wednesday, October 6, 2021) - At the request of Mayor Brandon M. Scott, the Inspector General Advisory Board is postponing its upcoming meeting, and re-scheduling for Thursday, October 28th at 9am. The meeting will begin on CharmTV before immediately going into closed session pursuant to Article 3-305(b)(1) of the Open Meetings Act, which allows for closed meetings when discussing personnel matters related to individuals within the Advisory Board’s jurisdiction.

“I support a strong and independent Inspector General,” said Mayor Brandon M. It is in our shared interest to eliminate corruption, improve local government practices, and restore public faith in City Hall.”

The Advisory Board is responsible for appointing the Inspector General, conducting an annual performance review for the Inspector General, and for reviewing, revising, and approving the Office of the Inspector General’s budget.
